Vocalist Jacci McGhee Speaks Her Truth on "WOAC Radio" Podcast
By Paige Boyd, Managing Editor
She was featured on one of the biggest ballads of the New Jack Swing era. Her voice, just as powerful as it was sweet. She was destined for R&B greatness, but as we know in the music business, fame can be fleeting.
Jacci McGhee, the female vocalist featured on Keith Sweat's 1987 hit, Make It Last Forever, stopped by the WOAC Radio podcast to exclusively tell her story, and to say that her life and career has been a roller coaster would be a huge understatement. She discusses everything, from the beginning of her career to the twist and turns that came her way. She also held nothing back when she explained how, at one point, she hated the very track that brought her to the forefront. She also talks about new music and how she wants to bring purpose to her work.
You can listen to the full interview, starting at around the 35-minute mark, below. WOAC Radio is available on all podcast platforms.
