Syria Is In More Trouble Than Ever Imagined!
By :Angel Pink
According to the United Nations , the conflict in Syria is among one of the worse in the history of the modern world and the amount of money is will take to repair the country ranges from £4 billion and higher -- The U.N. states that there isn't an end in sight for the greatest humanitarian catastrophe of modern times , as described of the little Middle Eastern country . The ruins of the country shows only as horrific and idiotic -- citizens of the area have fled and continue to flee by the thousands each day -- its estimated that at least 8,000 people cross the country's' borders each day into neighboring countries , which include :Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq and Egypt, in an attempt to get away from the fighting and the destruction. With statics that say that more than 75% of the population will need aid in the coming 2014 year and the UN asking for the biggest aid appeal in the organizations' history , its no secret as to what all the hypes' about . Reports state that people have left their homes and many have fled , and that number count is within the millions . The wars intensity has gone pass the bench mark set for the war and has yet to meet any of the outcome expectations . Millions of people are homeless , foodless, destitute or all .
UN agencies are attempting to provide food, clean drinking water, shelter, education, health services and polio vaccines inside the devastated country, as well as assisting neighboring countries. The sad truth is that when Syrians leave their homeland , they are left to take care of their selves and the outcome is more than fatal : its absolute and definite. There's no way to say for sure about the future of the country and the survival of the current Syrian generation with so many children being exposed to disease , trauma , orphaned , and missing years of educational growth : these numbers are reasoned at hundreds of thousands and pushing a million milestone as the second year of the war quickly comes to a end and we enter the third year.
There's no winning this and there's so many problems with this war and the effort to help seems to be lost as we notice the hike in causalties -- volunteers are killed every day for their goods and in an effort to save and help the people that this war has and will continue to hurt and even kill -- Help is seen as a legitimate reason for attack for both sides of this war and clearly no one is spared . The UN has extended a gracious thank you to the countries that have opened up their doors to let in refugees from Syria , even if the help is below minimal , it is still help after all .
The fact that children can not sleep at night peacefully , is a burden that we all must carry and as we watch from our television sets and watch lives be wiped out in the blink of an eye , I hope we understand that many people aren't as fortunate as we are and we should be grateful but we should also try to help in any way that we can because any day of the year , that children who was killed by an explosive could be our daughter , or the man running who was shot by a sniper could be our husband rushing to save the life of a relative that couldn't get away soon enough . We as a race fight senseless wars and never seem to care about the causalities and the face that an entire country is on the brink of extinction is gut wrenching and truly a disturbing thought.
