BWe Next Bringing Their Black Women's Expo To Three Cities This Year
By Paige Boyd, Managing Editor
The BWe Next Black Women's Expo is set to bring an amazing experience to three big cities this year, coming back with a bang following the COVID-19 shutdown.
The experience kicks off in Detroit's Huntington Place (formerly Cobo Hall) on June 18-19, with additional expos in Chicago's McCormick Place (August 12-14) and the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta (December 17-18).
Since 1993, the "Expo for Today's Black Woman" provided activations and experiences that address the issues and concerns of Black women and families. With entertainment, seminars, empowerment sessions, vendors, and more, BWe Next is looking forward to continuing its legacy as "the nation’s longest-running, most-respected, intergenerational exposition targeting Black Women and their families-where women gather to share ideas, search for solutions, grow their businesses and where corporate brands can speak directly to this consumer."
Events this year include the #SheMatters empowerment workshops, a youth summit, Beauty & Lifestyle lounges, a "Men's Den," and the introduction of the "Shhh! Lounge," featuring adult beverage sampling and a "silent party," with three DJs playing a variety of music.
