Janet Jackson gearing up for comeback to prove she is still in control

The music icon revealed on Twitter that she has plans to put out a new album and go on tour in 2015. “I promise you’d hear it from my lips and now you will,” she said in the clip with her voice alone in its familiar soft-spoken tone. “This year: New music; new world tour; a new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going,” she adds.

The singer has remained fairly reclusive since marrying Qatari businessman Wissam Al Man in 2012. Her last album Discipline was released in 2009 and now her fans are using the hashtag #ConversationsInACafe to rejoice and speculate about the new release.
