Wendy’s $400 Million Dollar Man
If you are thinking of entering the franchise business, one former NBA player has blazed a multi-million dollar trail with several popular restaurant brands.
Former LA Laker-Milwaukee Bucks-LA Clippers player, Ulysses Lee “Junior” Bridgeman, has created a $400 million fortune for himself in the franchise business. Proving that, if invested right, you can take money and nurture it into something far greater than you can imagine. This is what Bridgeman did with his six-figure salary earned while still in the NBA.
A recent article states that Bridgeman began planning for his future by learning the franchise game. He worked at Wendy’s during his off seasons in order to learn the fast food business first-hand. By the time his NBA career ended, Bridgeman owned three Wendy’s restaurants. To date, Bridgeman is the second largest Wendy’s franchise owner in the world. He owns more than 160 Wendy’s restaurants, and in addition, Bridgeman has investments in over 120 Chili’s franchises in America.
