Yale Shutdown!
By : Angel Pink
This morning at approximately 10:17 A.M., the Ivy league school was shut down due to the anonymous call of a person (not identified as a student) who informed the staff that his room mate was headed to the main campus from the dorms with a rifle after stating that he would "shoot the place up".
The Yale administration quickly shut the campus down and informed all staff and students to head to a safe place and take cover. The caller only stayed on the phone for a few moments but the call was traced back to a pay phone near the campus. The caller has yet to be identified. SWAT teams approached quickly and tactically and blocked off several streets and went to work, trying to find the man that posed a threat to the well being of the student body and the administration.
As of 12:54 p.m., the school announced that although the shutdown was still in place, there was no noticeable threat of a gunman on or near campus. The school took all needed safety percussions although most of the students have already gone away for the Thanksgiving break that has already started for most college students.
