Today Is International Day of Girls!

And for many of you who don't know exactly what that entails, it's a day set aside to advocate the rights of girls across the world. Today we look to women, who may have had it better than we did or worse, but have made a name for their selves.

We understand that as women we are our own success and our own failure.

We are our own role models and we create the happy ending because only we know exactly what we are seeking out of life.

We understand the struggles of people like Oprah Winfrey, Hilary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Beyonce Knowles and many other powerful women who hold different goals and professions within life.

Today we understand that although we may not be perfect we are women and we can and will do any and everything we put our minds to.

Today has been set aside for us to realize all the obstacles we have over come and brace our selves for the coming problems that might knock us down.

Today we look at all the other women around us and we celebrate just how far women have come in the last two hundred years and how far we can and will go in the next two hundred years.

Today , we are women and as women we make this world bearable even when we feel as though it isn't bearable any longer.
